Despicable police action in Anaheim last night: After shooting an unarmed man in handcuffs through the back of his head, the cops turned on the outraged neighbors, shooting women and children with rubber bullets and unleashing an attack dog into the crowd who lunged at a woman holding a baby. We stand in solidarity with the residents who were victims of this brutal and indefensible attack by the police.
The false dichotomy of conservative vs liberal is one of the most effective illusions Americans have bought into. We are divided along the meaningless and artificial social cleavage of Repub vs Dem when the only division that has any meaning is between the few hundred power elite and the rest of us. Or, in Occupy terms, the 1% vs the 99%. Don’t let them define your reality anymore!

If so, what will it look like?

The organizing activity currently happening is a thousand times more than it was one year ago. Every day people are engaging in protest. Decentralized guerilla armies are confronting the corrupt and…

It’s because they’re not feeling sufficiently threatened. When several hundred protesters left the City Hall campsite last week, marched to a Bank…
